The Roebuck, Banbury

The Roebuck Inn

A quintessential Cotswold Village Pub, situated some 2 miles west from the centre of the historic market town of Banbury. Cotswold pubs don’t come much prettier than this one – It is situated in the village of Drayton and is the only pub in the village. The Roebuck benefits from a great roadside location with parking and has great curb appeal, there is good local drinking trade but the real opportunity is to enhance the already well-known and loved food offer from the fully compliant catering kitchen. There is an attractive multi-level patio area to the front of the property and also an enclosed fire in the main bar.

TRADING AREAS

The Roebuck has recently benefitted from a complete redecoration by a well-known interior designer and is in excellent condition. Upon entering the pub from the patio there is a small bar mainly utilised for the wet trade with comfortable seating for approximately 10 covers, this is where the fire is. Moving past this room you go up a couple of steps to find a secondary service area with some more seats at which point you enter into the attractive restaurant area with approx. 30+ covers. The kitchen is situated behind the bar and has 3 entrance/exits for convenience, 1 to the restaurant area, 1 to the servery area and the other to the bar. The toilets are located to the rear of the pub between the servery and the restaurant area. There is full disabled access to the restaurant and the toilet facilities.

ANCILLARY AREAS

Ladies and Gents toilets in good order. Traditional beer cellar with a low ceiling! Heating is mains gas. A fully equipped and compliant gas catering kitchen with extract canopy, stainless steel sink and worktops plus a range of appliances.

EXTERNAL AREAS

The car park has space for circa 10 cars and thee is also the opportunity for some on street parking. The attractive patio area at the front of the building has space for another 20 covers.
