Riesling is one of Alsace’s most-famed grapes, this fresh and lively example shows lemon and grapefruit fruit aromas. Hand harvested from vineyards planted on limestone, the grapes are fermented with native yeasts and the wine is briefly aged on the fine lees. This superb white Wine produced by Emile Beyer is crafted in Alsace. This wine has a cork closure and is crafted using organic practices and made to be suitable for vegan consumers. Piquepoul is a very localised white grape growing just inland of the Mediterranean shore south of Montpellier. Marc Cabrol makes a typical fresh and mineral style that has all the lemony balance required to match fish and oysters.This is textbook Chablis from one of the area’s most successful producers. It has green-tinged hues, an elegant slightly steely quality with aromas and flavours of freshly baked brioche.
