Description
Tanners French Cite de Gascogne Rose 2018
Sourced from a family domaine in the Gers, this juicy, racy rosé has been a fantastic success since release. Vibrant summer fruits nose and a soft strawberry flavour mean one bottle isn’t enough!
Yerevan Areni Karmrayhut Armenia Blend
Fresh and juicy red fruit with cherries and an attractive peppery character on the palate. Interesting wine from vineyards at over 1000 metres.
Las Pampas Malbec Mendoza 2019
An Argentinean red with a pleasing, fruity nose and a charming supple character. Grown on the foothills of the Andes, there is plenty of freshness (thanks in part to the high slopes of the vineyards) and appetising black cherry flavours. A rich, full red with lovely damson and plum fruits, soft tannins with a subtle hint of underlying oak. Matched perfectly with braised beef.
Allumea Organic Grillo Chardonnay Sicilia
An elegant pale yellow colour, with a bouquet reminiscent of pineapple and lemon. The palate is fresh and crisp, with a great minerality and a long and lingering finish. Perfect on its own or to accompany white meats, fish or fresh pasta dishes.
Strofilia White Dot Dry White
This Greek wine has aromas of rose petals, lemon blossom and citrus; the palate is fresh aromatic fruit, backed by a soft round textured finish. The wine gets its name from a white rock which can clearly be seen as a ‘white dot’ high above a vineyard where the grapes are grown.
A Rosé By Any Other Name – English Rosé
Welcombe Hills, Stratford-Upon-Avon. Our 2020 English Rosé is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Dornfelder. Subtle on the nose, with aromas of red apple, wild strawberry and wet stone minerality. Gentle red berries, with a nice balance of strawberries and cream gives a well rounded palate, with an elegant lingering finish. This is a great aperitif but would also work well with shellfish, grilled salmon and vegetarian dishes. Suitable for vegans.
