To celebrate the festive season, we wanted to make something that was in the same family as our Cotswolds Dry Gin, but with a Christmassy twist. Our Lead New Product Development Distiller, Alice Pearson, decided to use clementine as something quintessentially festive that also captures the bright, citrusy flavours in our signature gin.
Our Cloudy Christmas Gin is distilled in a traditional copper pot still using nine carefully considered botanicals, including locally grown lavender from the Cotswolds and whole fresh clementine. When crafting this festive expression, we use over ten times the average amount of botanicals to ensure our gin is high in flavour-rich oils. Not only do these botanical oils mean our gin is rich in flavour, but they are also the reason why our gin turns beautifully cloudy when ice or tonic is added.
