Miles, Milestones and Memories Book Launch
Hook Norton Brewery is mentioned in a new book, “Miles, Milestones and Memories,” by David Fenton, which chronicles his 54-day walk around England for charity. David previously received support from the brewery in the form of beer and glasses for his fundraising efforts.
The book, which took four years to complete, is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be officially released in March. David expressed his gratitude to Hook Norton Brewery for their past support, noting that they are thanked several times within the book’s pages.
David isn’t stopping with his walk around England. He is now leading a global fundraising challenge this September. Participants from around the world will walk, cycle, run, or swim, with their combined kilometres contributing to a virtual journey around the world (41,000 km). The challenge, running from September 1st to 30th, will also raise funds for local children’s charities chosen by the participants.
A website for the global challenge is set to launch in the coming weeks. David is seeking support and sponsorship for the event and invites interested parties to contact him for more details. He hopes to encourage participation from colleges and universities.
