Shire Horse Christmas Carriage Rides

A cool crisp breeze and the gentle jingle of Shire horse harness.
Join us for a festive forty minute carriage drive through the chocolate-box village of Hook Norton. Taking in a mixture of rural country lanes and picturesque streets decorated with traditional thatched cottages, our experienced Coachman will expertly navigate the quaint lanes of this centuries-old village.

Let our magnificent working Shire Horses, Brigadier and Balmoral take you upon a journey in our Victorian-style wagonette, adorned with festive decorations and accompanied by a cosy blanket for your pleasure.

In addition, indulge yourself with a warming lunch, before or after your ride in our award-winning Malthouse Kitchen café or alternatively spoil yourself with a take-away hot drink to enjoy en route.

This unique experience is available for only £200 per carriage, catering for up to four people at a time.

Carriages available in December at 11am, or 1pm on:
Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th
Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th
Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd
Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th

Bookings will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Adults must supervise children, and as this carriage is a Victorian replica, we hope you can understand that it is therefore unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchair access.
Rides will operate regardless of the weather and refunds will only be issued if cancellations are made by the brewery.
