Hook Norton Brewery Unveils “Grand Union” Cask Ale with Dual Launch Event
Beer enthusiasts are invited to celebrate the launch of Hook Norton Brewery’s latest seasonal offering, the “Grand Union” cask ale, at two special events this Thursday, February 27th.
The brewery is offering free samples of the new IPA, a 4.3% pale ale, at The Castle in Edge Hill at 6:30 pm, followed by a second tasting at The George in Lower Brailes at 7:30 pm.
“Grand Union” is described as a well-balanced brew, celebrating the “grand union of hops, malt, water, yeast, pride and passion” that goes into Hook Norton’s beers. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Robin Underwood, the brewer behind the new creation, and learn more about the brewing process and the inspiration behind the ale.
The beer boasts a light amber appearance, with aromatic citrus and grapefruit notes on the nose. Taste testers can expect a light bitterness, complemented by sweet biscuit flavours.
“We’re thrilled to introduce ‘Grand Union’ to our seasonal range,” said James Clarke, Managing Director and fifth Generation at Hook Norton Brewery. “We encourage everyone to come along, enjoy a free sample, and meet the brewery team.”
The dual launch events offer a unique opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience the latest creation from this historic brewery.
