Mountain Pint’s fundraiser for Blood Cancer UK

A very special beer has been brewed at Hook Norton Brewery by Gill Begnor. She has brewed the beer to help raise funds for Blood Cancer UK.

In October 2024, a pint of Hook Norton beer (and Gill) plan to climb Toubkal – the highest mountain in the Atlas range in Morocco. Gill brewed this special beer (Mountain(b)eering – she makes no apologies for the pun – it’s for charity! in July and it will be on sale at the Hook Norton Beer Festival Of Fine Ales on Saturday 20th July and in local pubs in July and August. James Clarke at the brewery generously offered to fund the brewing and the trip to Morocco is funded by Gill – so every penny raised from sponsorship will go to Blood Cancer UK.

Please drink/donate generously!

Blood Cancer UK
We’re a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we’ve invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
