The Kings Head offers a friendly retreat to the local community, passing walkers and canal boaters.

The newly refurbished restaurant is perfect not just for diners but also for those looking to celebrate a special occasion or hold a business presentation.

Together with the quality of Hook Norton Ales, the Kings Head offers an Anglo-European menu fit for any King! The menu ranges from the more traditional ‘Kings Head Classics’ offering hand-carved Honey Glazed Ham, Lasagne and Hooky Beer Battered Cod and Chips etc to a Grill section with succulent rump, rib-eye and horseshoe Gammon Steaks.  Then there are the ‘Kings Head Specials’ offering slow-cooked blade of British Beef, Woodland Mushroom Risotto, Madeira Sauce and Vegetable Crisps, Feta Stuffed Saddle of Lamb, char-grilled Mediterranean Vegetables, Sauté Potatoes and Salsa Verde. There’s always plenty on offer to tempt you including Fish and Vegetarian dishes. There is also a lighter lunchtime menu available (Mon-Sat) for those just wanting a snack whilst relaxing in the bar.
